Board of Directors Application

The Kentucky Fairness Alliance is currently seeking interested individuals to apply for consideration to serve on the Board of Directors.

We are a grassroots organization dedicated to promoting equality for all people regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity or expression. Through education, advocacy, local organizing, coalition building, and leadership development, we seek to raise the voice and visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Kentuckians and our allies.

The Kentucky Fairness Alliance is a nonprofit organization, which operates under 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Kentucky Fairness Alliance seeks a group of individuals who reflect the diversity of Kentucky with regard to gender, age, race, geographic location, sexual orientation and gender identity and expression, who are active in their communities and possess a strong commitment to advancing equality for all Kentuckians. Persons who are interested in promoting the cause of fairness in Kentucky are encouraged to apply.

Ampersand. The Ampersand symbolizes the solidarity we are building through Friends & Family, and suggests the inclusiveness we are working toward. It reflects the idea that no one individual, legislator, organization, or city can carry all the water for equality. Our success lies in our solidarity.
