Kentucky Fairness Alliance Condemns Sen. Richard Roeding's Inflammatory Comments
July 14, 2006

Frankfort --- The Kentucky Fairness Alliance strongly condemns the hateful and inflammatory comments made by Sen. Richard Roeding  in Friday's Louisville Courier-Journal.

"Sen. Roeding's statements about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people were nothing short of appalling," said KFA Executive Director Christina Gilgor.  "His comments are totally inappropriate for a public figure. As an elected official he has sworn to serve all his constituents, but he has effectively stated that he would run his LGBT constituents out of the state."
