New One-Click Advocacy to Oppose the Discriminatory FMA

Right-wing extremists have designated this Sunday, June 4, as "Marriage Protection Sunday."

Twisting religion to support discrimination, they will mobilize thousands of Americans—including members of the Southern Baptist Convention—to pressure their U.S. Senators to vote for the discriminatory Federal Marriage Amendment (FMA)... (more)

The Kentucky Fairness Alliance encourages our members and supporters to send a message to their U.S. Senators. Tell them to take the side of justice for all and oppose the discriminatory FMA.

Test Post

Hi Misty! The website looks awesome!!

Governor drops sham suit, agrees to delay disbursement

Gov. Ernie Fletcher has voluntarily dismissed his lawsuit asking Franklin Circuit Court to support funding discrimination at the University of the Cumberlands.

Instead, the issues will be resolved in the Kentucky Fairness Alliance's suit to block the state funding of a Pharmacy School and tuition grants on constitutional grounds.

The Order of Agreement ensures that no money will be disbursed to the university until at least 30 days following any ruling allowing funding to the university.

KFA is now moving forward with the litigation. No dates are set for court appearances.

New Website gives KFA a Facelift

Welcome to the new website. I hope you will learn as much and have as much fun exploring it as I did building it.

Specifically, welcome to the new Newsroom. I put this section together with three words in mind: easy, relevant, and current. That's why we're using Blogger to power the news homepage. It's now easier for you to receive (and us to post) more relevant and more current information for KFA supporters.

Use the site designer link at the bottom of each page to send feedback!

It reflects the idea that no one individual, legislator, organization, or city can carry all the water for equality. Our success lies in our solidarity.
