Marriage Equality Matters

Be sure to join the KFA Bluegrass Chapter this Saturday, October 7 for Marriage Equality Matters. Blending artistic and reasoned approaches, the forum will explore the implications of denying marriage equality to all couples.

The event begins with a reading of David Rush's play, Tying the Knot, followed by a Q&A with the playwright.

Then, after a meet-and-greet with Evan Wolfson, Executive Director of Freedom to Marry, the audience will be invited to participate in a panel discussion/public forum, featuring Rep. Kathy Stein (D-Lexington), and the Rev. Todd Ekloff of Louisville.

Please join us at the University of Kentucky Law School Courtroom at 1:00 p.m. this Saturday!

Ampersand. The Ampersand symbolizes the solidarity we are building through Friends & Family, and suggests the inclusiveness we are working toward. It reflects the idea that no one individual, legislator, organization, or city can carry all the water for equality. Our success lies in our solidarity.
