Guy Hamilton-Smith
Lexington

Guy has lived in Lexington for approximately twenty years and is currently a law student at the University of Kentucky. He has assisted in the past with volunteer work for Amnesty International and is interested in human rights generally, as well as LBGT rights specifically in areas such as hate-crimes legislation and anti-discrimination law. He currently serves on the legislative committee of the Kentucky Fairness Alliance and joined the Board of Directors in 2009.


Ampersand. The Ampersand symbolizes the solidarity we are building through Friends & Family, and suggests the inclusiveness we are working toward. It reflects the idea that no one individual, legislator, organization, or city can carry all the water for equality. Our success lies in our solidarity.
